signage design combines symbols, color, and typography to effectively navigate people through a space. Especially important in built environments, wayfinding design provides the visual cues to help guide people to their destinations with ease.
In this project, icons for archaeological and tourist places in Cairo were designed in a distinctive and simple style consisting of geometric shapes that are in line with the engineering designs of archaeological sites. In addition, the directional arrows and icons of public places located in those tourist areas, such as cafes and clinics, were designed.
